Valles Caldera National Preserve

Valles Caldera National Preserve is located at the heart of the Jemez Mountains in northern New Mexico. The preserve is known for its huge mountain meadows, abundant wildlife, meandering streams, and stunning views of the night sky. The preserve offers regular, ongoing 24-hour access to stargazing via at least six large pullouts. The preserve also offers many astronomy programs and nighttime recreation activities such as full moon hikes.
