Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute

Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI) is nestled in the Pisgah National Forest at a former historic NASA facility. They provide a variety of activities and learning experiences for educators and their students at all levels—on campus, at school, locations elsewhere, and online. PARI prides themselves on maintaining a dark night sky, not only because it allows for ideal astronomical observations, but because preserving the night sky also benefits our health and environment.
